Walmart Offers No Contract iPhone 5C & 5S Plans

Walmart Offers No Contract iPhone 5C & 5S Plans

Walmart stores offers no contract iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C service plan at $45 a month starting this Friday. Walmart’s firm parent company, Tracfone Wireless stated that price doesn’t include the phone, however, the price on a no-contract 16-gigabyte iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s will be $549 and $649. You can use the call, text and web surf features via Straight Talk Wireless and Net10 Wireless.

“I think that is something that they need to do to get that 5c out there. A lot of people do consider Apple too expensive. I think this is their way of combatting that, right? ‘We’re selling it at Walmart, no contract—you can afford it.’ “

After you get an iPhone, you can sign up for a 30-day plan with Straight Talk for $45/month or Net10 for $50/month (additional lines in Net10’s Friends and Family service cost $40). If you want unlimited international calls, add $15 a month to either Straight Talk or Net10. You can also use Walmart credit card to get financing for the iPhones with no interest if you pay the money back in 18 months and 24 months if you bought an iPhone 5s.

What are you waiting for? Mark your calendar now, these plans last only one month and can be renewed at the end of the period.
