Manila Philippines, Skyway Accident has resulted in the tragic -deaths- of at least 21 individuals and 20 -injured- when the Don Mariano Transit Corp. bus full of passengers fell off the Manila Skyway on Monday, December 16, 2013.
Corresponding to the witness, at around 5:00 A.M. a public utility bus, with plate number UVC 916 bound for Pacita Complex and travelling around 70 mph overtook her car and changed direction off the Manila Skyway then collided with a van in the area of Barangay Marcelo Green, Parañaque City along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEx).
Irene Sisperes stated:
“After a few meters, I saw the bus fell and I shouted, ‘The bus fell, the bus fell.”
Police are currently not sure at this moment what the real caused of the Skyway accident in Manila and it is under full investigation. It is known that the roads were wet due to rain and were quite slippery.
The are seven people identified: Roger Orquejo, Mary Ann Superio, Roberto Bautista, Arnold Jimenos, Jean Angelique Cadiz, Joey Esponilla and Rodel Tolentino. The *dead* have been taken to Taguig-Pateros District Hospital, Amigo -Funeral- Parlor in Lower Bicutan, Taguig City, and Veronica’s -Funeral- Parlor in Pasay City. Besides Parañaque Doctors’ Hospital, the -injured- were taken to Parañaque Medical Center, Ospital ng Muntinlupa and South Superhighway Hospital.
