Rematch: Mayweather Wants To Fight Manny Pacquiao After Surgery

After all of the pressing issues with regards to the fight of the century, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is thrilled to have a rematch with Manny Pacquiao. Mayweather delivered a text messages to Stephen Smith of ESPN stating that he could be ready to fight the eight-division world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao after his surgery.

“I will fight him in a year after his surgery,” Mayweather stated.

According to the report, Manny Pacquiao will undergo right shoulder surgery later this week to repair a “significant tear” in his rotator cuff.

However, Mayweather’s obvious readiness to step to the ring with Pacquiao once more generally seems to contradict remarks he made in the aftermath of his success in Las Vegas on Saturday, when he insisted he planned to retire after yet another battle in September.

Everyone else might feel glad upon hearing this good news. We have all been looking forward for a rematch of the controversial fight of the century after Mayweather won via unanimous decision and everyone else appeared to be disappointed with all the result!
